I haven't been as good about reading all the Chekov/Sulu goodness out there these days, but today I got a huge craving for it! Luckily there were a couple amazing fics that were recently posted that I could dive into and omgsodamngood!!!!

mercaque (R, character death) Featuring a time traveling Sulu, a embittered 73-year-old Professor Chekov, angst, an amazing lovestory that gets told in pieces, and a wonderful sense of sweetness and resolution. Not necessarily a happy ending, but a perfect one, really.
The Path of a Moving Object byhollycomb (R) Chekov works at the coffee shop where Hikaru comes every morning, there is much UST, sweetness, courting, socially-inept and awkward Chekov, and adorably dorky Hikaru, a sad last night, a long separation, angst, and a satisfying reunion. Good, good stuff.
And then, because I still hadn't fully satisfied my Chekov/Sulu craving and was dying for more of their adorableness, I went back to some of my all-time favs. These stories NEVER EVER EVER fail to put an enormous smile on my face. Three of my absolute favorite feel-good Chekov/Sulu pieces:
Cherry Coke bygrea (PG-13) HSAU and the cutest damn thing EVER. Chekov is on a band trip and runs into Hikaru who works at the hotel. Bonus of lots of Enterprise crew cameos. Super cute and as sweet as cherry coke.
Math and Boys by6street (PG) Academy fic where Chekov and Gaila are best friends and she helps him with his ADORABLE crush on Hikaru. Pavel and Hikaru's interactions are unbelievably adorable and make me AWWWWW outloud every single time.
Bring Back My Bonny To Me bysecret_weapon(PG-13, also featuring Kirk/McCoy) This is one of my favorite fanfics of all time and I tend to go back and reread it whenever I need a pick-me-up. Laugh out loud hilarious and so super sweet with loads of UST and best friends pining over each other and drunken confessions and botched matchmaking and spot-on dialogue and there is a scene in the mess hall between Chekov and Kirk that is THE BEST THING EVER. I want it in movie form. Seriously. So much love for this fic.
