where_no_woman . This was my first time writing Uhura as a main character, and I hope that, despite the fact that she's not kicking ass or saving the day or anything all that obvious, you still find her appropriately awesome. Because she really is, even when she's just hanging out on shore leave and being her everyday awesome self.
